Increase for Flights
to North Korea

The national airline of the DPRK has substantially raised ticket prices for all flights to North Korea over specific dates in 2019. This is the second price rise in recent months.

Air Koryo, the national airline of the DPRK, has decided to substantially raise their tickets prices for all flights to Pyongyang on 4, 5, 6 April over the period of the 2019 Pyongyang Marathon as well as from 1 April to 10 May and from 1 September to 15 October. This initial price increase was made 20 December 2018 for all the dates above, with an additional price rise added for the latter date only on 01 February 2019.

We regret to inform our customers that we will have to pass on this increased cost.

For anyone taking a one-way flight during the Pyongyang Marathon (4-6 April), the cost of a one-way ticket will increase by 40 EUR, while the cost of a round-trip ticket will increase by 140 EUR.

Those traveling from1 April to 10 May (exclusive of 4-6 April) and from 1 September to 15 October, the cost of one-way ticket will increase by 33 EUR, while the cost of a round-trip ticket will increase by 121 EUR. **Please note that Air Koryo has added an additional 13 EUR to one-way flight tickets and 26 EUR to round-trip tickets on Friday 01 February 2019. These additions are included in the price increases listed above.**

Flights outside of these dates remain unaffected by the Air Koryo price rise.
